The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown shoots for a double leg takedown but Peevor sprawls well. He's pushed Brown's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Peevor shoots in and bounces Brown off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Brown is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Peevor wants to get up but he can't break Brown's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
