Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darth Fedor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slade Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darth Fedor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Slade Steel!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Alyssa Summers and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fedor misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Fedor ducks under a wild hook from Steel.
Steel scores with a jab. Fedor acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Fedor connects with a looping right hand.
Fedor shoots in looking for a takedown. Steel tries to sprawl out of it but Fedor keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Steel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Steel stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Steel wants it to stay on the feet.

Fedor uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Steel.

Fedor is pressing down on Steel's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Fedor manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Steel manages to get himself to full guard.
Fedor being controlled here momentarily.
Fedor trying to control the position from guard on top but Steel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Steel is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Fedor bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Steel throws a hook but Fedor avoids it easily.

Steel looks to throw the jab but Fedor is out of range.
Steel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fedor moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Fedor avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Darth Fedor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Steel ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Steel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fedor manages to avoid it.

Steel tests Fedor's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A swing and a miss from Steel.
Steel avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Fedor throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Steel throws an overhand right that lands on Fedor's shoulder, as Fedor tries to avoid the shot.
Steel throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Fedor sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Steel jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Steel misses with a series of wild punches.

Steel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fedor moves away.
Steel misses with an uppercut. Fedor saw that one coming.
Fedor looking to land some kicks to the body here.
A decent looking cross lands there for Steel.
Fedor defending well as Steel loads up on a big left hand.
Steel misses with a straight left.
A left lands for Fedor.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Steel stuffs the takedown.
Steel misses with a leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Slade Steel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Steel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fedor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fedor looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Fedor displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Steel throws out the jab.

and Steel counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Steel throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fedor.
Fedor shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Steel sprawls well. Steel wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fedor gets slowly back to his feet.
Steel scores with a crisp jab that stopped Fedor in his tracks.
Slade Steel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Steel darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A combination from Steel does no damage.

and Steel counters with a nice uppercut.

Steel pivots, looking for a leg kick but Fedor is out of range and Steel settles back down.
Steel scores with a jab to the jaw.

Fedor fails to land with a series of punches.
Steel connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Slade Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fedor dodges the punch combination from Steel.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Slade Steel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
