Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ratt Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zvonimir Stelian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hughes comes into the arena with Country boy can survive blaring out of the sound system. Stelian has chosen Poison (The Prodigy) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zvonimir Stelian!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stelian gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hughes to score an easy takedown into full guard.

and Hughes cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Hughes uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Stelian has time to react.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hughes stalks Stelian and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Stelian's face. Stelian staggers backwards, shaken.
Hughes lands a two punch combo.

and Hughes counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Stelian's guard now.
