Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Rand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Ono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Rand! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Matt Ono! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ono doesn't manage to clinch there - Rand circles away.
Ono moves in looking to clinch but Rand pushes him off. Rand looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Ono is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ono tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rand paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ono dodges the punch combination from Rand.
Ono drives through and clinches with Rand against the cage.
A body shot lands from Rand.
Ono lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Rand wants to break free but Ono has control.
Rand blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Ono lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Rand is staying active underneath Ono, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Rand won't allow Ono to pass to mount. Rand avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ono. Rand has his hands clasped together around Ono's back. He's all about the action. Rand is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ono's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ono's back!
That's one minute gone in the round. Rand controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ono just trying to survive but Rand is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Rand is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Rand has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Ono tries to roll but Rand sticks to his back.
What can Ono do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Daniel Rand just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Ono is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Rand scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ono doesn't seem bothered though. Ono throws a leg kick but Rand checks it. Ono tries to clinch up but Rand circles away and keeps his distance. Ono doesn't manage to clinch there - Rand circles away.
Ono is looking to clinch. Rand stalks Ono and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ono's face. Ono staggers backwards, shaken. Rand checks the leg kick nicely there.
Ono ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Ono wants to clinch. Ono tries to clinch up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ono fails with an attempt to clinch.
No joy there for Rand, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ono tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Rand swings for the body but Ono moves out of range.
Rand throws a combination. Ono tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Rand swats away the attempt to clinch by Ono. Ono wants to clinch. Rand swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Ono is looking to clinch but Rand is avoiding it.
Rand swats away the attempt to clinch by Ono. Rand misses with an uppercut. Ono saw that one coming. Rand misses with the combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Rand dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Ono tries to clinch but Rand moves out of range. Rand works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Ono is rocked! Ono is looking to clinch. Ono is still on wobbly legs! Can Rand finish him? Rand throws a shot to the body.
Ono walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Rand swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Daniel Rand!
