The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fistyrian is trying to trip Saukko. He has hold of a leg but Saukko is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Fistyrian persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fistyrian accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Fistyrian working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Saukko lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Fistyrian!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fistyrian bucks up and throws Saukko to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like Manuel Fistyrian has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
