Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gabriel Walker looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gabriel Walker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jan Kowalski! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kowalski tries for a takedown but Walker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Kowalski displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Walker. Kowalski shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Walker is trying to defend but Kowalski finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Walker wants to control but Kowalski is keeping busy.
Kowalski is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kowalski looks gassed! Kowalski is working for a submission of some sort.
Walker gets back to full guard.
Walker manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kowalski manages to get himself to full guard.
Walker wanted to stand there but Kowalski had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kowalski swivels though and keeps the full guard. Walker slips nicely into half guard. Kowalski looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Kowalski with the active half guard here but Walker passes nicely into side control. Walker passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Kowalski! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Walker tries to control but Kowalski wriggling away. Walker cracks Kowalski with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kowalski is in all sorts of trouble here.
Walker working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Kowalski turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Walker off and cradles Kowalski's limp body as Walker celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Gabriel Walker!
