Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Keith Franco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Legend (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Franco might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Clobberin Time. Keith Franco has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Keith Franco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Legend! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Fedor Mirinova and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Legend. Legend looks for a takedown but Franco sprawls well. Franco throws a hook but Legend avoids it easily. Legend tries to clinch up. Legend throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Franco. Franco connects with a crisp jab. Legend throws a leg kick but Franco sees it coming and checks it nicely. Legend wants to clinch up but Franco keeps it at a distance. Franco lands a nice hook to Legend's body. Legend takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Legend misses with a two punch combination.
Franco misses with a straight left. Franco leaves Legend with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Franco connects with a good right hand that stumbles Legend. Legend circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Legend shoots for a double leg takedown but Franco sprawls well. He's pushed Legend's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Keith Franco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Legend. Franco avoids a punch combination nicely.
Legend gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Franco. Legend looks gassed! Legend shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Franco as he avoids it easily. Franco drops Legend with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Legend looks back up at him and smiles so Franco waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Legend is rocked!
It looks like John Legend has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Franco lands a brutal uppercut that launches Legend off his feet! Legend tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Keith Franco!
