The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mughes looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Eduardo de Oliveira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mughes closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming de Oliveira to the mat! de Oliveira manages to get full guard.

de Oliveira has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mughes can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

de Oliveira is looking for a choke. Mughes gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Mughes manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.
