Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fernando Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Morgan Coffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fernando Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Morgan Coffin! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coffin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gracie looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Coffin! Gracie is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Coffin has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Coffin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Coffin prevents Gracie from taking his back. Coffin is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Gracie stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Morgan Coffin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coffin keeps the fight on the outside. Coffin throws a right hand that Gracie ducks under and follows up with a left that Gracie also avoids with ease. Coffin misses with a few strikes there.
Gracie shoots in but no luck this time. Coffin takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Coffin shows good takedown defense. Gracie clinches with his opponent.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Coffin tries to break the clinch but Gracie is controlling the position. Gracie is trying to drag Coffin to the mat but Coffin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fernando Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Coffin has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Gracie keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Coffin's efforts to push away. A frustrated look appears on Coffin's face as he tries to break the clinch. Coffin is trying to break free.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Gracie stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Coffin blocking some punches.

Coffin looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Gracie has clasped his hands together around Coffin's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Gracie advances nicely into full mount. Gracie stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Coffin swinging wildly here.
Coffin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gracie has time to react. Gracie with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Coffin to score with a decent uppercut. Coffin throws a combination. Gracie tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Coffin lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Coffin looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Left hook, right uppercut from Coffin. Coffin scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Coffin's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Coffin duly obliges. Gracie is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Coffin's half guard. Gracie passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Coffin! Gracie get's back to his feet. Coffin throws a right hand that Gracie ducks under and follows up with a left that Gracie also avoids with ease. Gracie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown. Coffin tries to sprawl out of it but Gracie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Coffin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Coffin fails to land with a series of punches.

Coffin looks to land a combination but Gracie avoids it well. Gracie fails to land the takedown. Gracie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Coffin circles away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gracie blocks a head kick by Coffin.

Gracie fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Coffin sprawls well initially but Gracie persists and gets the takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fernando Gracie dominated that round. That's time! Gracie's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Coffin as he jumps to the side. Gracie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Coffin's waist but Coffin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gracie off to one side. Gracie shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Coffin napping and manages to drive through into side control! Gracie tries to move to mount but Coffin blocks the move with his legs. Coffin struggling a bit here. Gracie moves into full mount! Gracie is standing up, even though he is in mount. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fernando Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Coffin misses with the combination.
Danga de danga de dang - Coffin scores with a four punch combination! Gracie avoids a punch combination nicely.

Gracie takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Gracie shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Coffin napping and manages to drive through into side control! Gracie wants to stand but Coffin is controlling his arm. Gracie tries to move into full mount but can't pass Coffin's legs. Gracie is working hard here to advance position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie decides to take the fight back to the feet. Coffin lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Gracie shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Coffin's guard. Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Gracie looking to pass the guard. Coffin is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Gracie dives into side control.

Coffin scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Coffin looks to land a combination. Gracie sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Coffin bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gracie's head. Coffin misses with a series of wild punches.

Gracie looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Coffin. Coffin closes the distance and lands a one-two. Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Coffin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat. Coffin closes the distance and lands a one-two. Coffin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gracie moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Gracie closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Gracie fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Gracie slips a jab and a cross from Coffin.
Coffin leaves Gracie with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Coffin lands a jab to Gracie's midsection.

Gracie gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Coffin throws a series of punches but Gracie moves out of range. Gracie moves in looking to clinch but Coffin pushes him off. Gracie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Coffin is fending him off so far but Gracie persists. Nope, Coffin circles away and we're back to standing. Gracie takes a shot right to the bread basket. Coffin misses with a few strikes there.

Gracie seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Gracie is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though. Coffin trying to control the position but instead, Gracie has worked for underhooks and has pushed Coffin into the ropes. Gracie drops down looking for an ankle pick but Coffin pulls his leg out and moves away.
Coffin looks to land a combination. Gracie sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Gracie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Coffin swivels and escapes. Coffin closes the distance and lands a one-two. Gracie takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gracie gets the takedown into side control. Gracie passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Coffin!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coffin has given up his back here. Will Gracie look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Fernando Gracie is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Gracie is persistently looking for the submission but Coffin is defending it well.

Morgan Coffin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Gracie working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
And that's the end of the fight! Fernando Gracie showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gracie, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
