Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Teemu Ruutu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kerma Pekoni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruutu shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pekoni as he avoids it easily.
Kerma Pekoni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pekoni shoots in and bounces Ruutu off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
You can see the frustration on Ruutu's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Well Pekoni has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
