The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesner bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Lesner misses with an attempted head punch from side control. The ground and pound from Lesner seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. King managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Lesner.

Lesner seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but King does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Lesner throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. King is looking to clinch. King with a lazy takedown attempt and Lesner counters with a nice double leg into side control. King won't be happy with that. Lesner working the ground and pound but King is defending the strikes. King managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Lesner.
That's one minute gone in the round. King on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Lesner looking to punish the body of his opponent here but King is avoiding damage well.
King tries to get back to half guard but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lesner in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Lesner is looking to take a break and control but King is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lesner looking to punish the body of his opponent here but King is avoiding damage well.
King is looking to regain half guard here but Lesner keeps moving and retains side control. Lesner scoring with punches and elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lesner creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Lesner lands a decent elbow from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lesner creates some space and throws a big elbow, but King sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. You can see the frustration on King's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Lesner postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

King takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lesner working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brock Lesner dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lesner throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
King jabs at Lesner's body. Lesner waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract King. King tries to close the distance and clinch but Lesner swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. King really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lesner avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Lesner fakes high and swings low for a body shot but King manages to avoid it. King with a poor takedown and Lesner counters with a single leg into guard. King didn't expect that. Lesner postures up in King's guard and throws a big left but King blocks it. Lesner trying to control the position from guard on top but King is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lesner is in close to King's body, working some short punches and elbows. Lesner throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesner trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. King keeping full guard, as Lesner tries to pass. Lesner won't allow King to get back to his feet. There's a bit of a scramble here and now King is on top in guard.
Lesner avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lesner wants to sweep here but King controlling him for the moment. Lesner pulls King in to control the position. King will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. King missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Lesner is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. King missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. King trying to control but Lesner is working from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Lesner loads up on a big right hand but King slips the punch. Lesner takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
It looks like Brock Lesner has been cut. King shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Lesner cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Lesner misses with a hook. King ducked under it nicely. King throws a hook but Lesner blocks it. Brock Lesner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lesner just misses with a punch to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Lesner. Lesner drives through with a takedown into guard. Lesner stands up over King, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Lesner throws a big right hand that misses. Lesner pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. King is keeping the position for now. Lesner with a nice head shot there. Lesner with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. King pulls Lesner in to control the position. Lesner with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King wants to sweep but no luck. King utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Lesner throwing strikes from guard but King blocks nicely. Lesner trying to control the position from guard on top but King is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lesner being controlled here momentarily. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lesner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brock Lesner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Brock Lesner's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Lesner stands up over King, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. King wants to get back to his feet but Lesner is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Lesner scoring with some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesner trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lesner throws a strike but King rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Lesner pushes King off and scrambles back to his feet.
King fails with the takedown and Lesner counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. King avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lesner. Bako King has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lesner is trying to control. King wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. King wants to improve his position but Lesner is controlling well.
Lesner is looking to take a break and control but King is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lesner throws a strike but King avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Lesner wants to control from the top but King keeps moving. Lesner working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. King has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Brock Lesner is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lesner connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. King moves in looking to clinch but Lesner pushes him off. Lesner looks for a takedown but King sprawls well. King throws a body punch but Lesner moves out of range. Lesner bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps King's head backwards. Lesner dives in and grabs King's left leg, looking for a takedown. King pushes down on Lesner's head and hops out. King gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lesner to score an easy takedown into full guard. Lesner wants to control from the top but King keeps moving. Lesner takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lesner prevents King from getting back to his feet. Lesner slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Brock Lesner has got the better of the ground game so far. King working a defensive guard here.
King lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lesner! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. King thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
And that's the end of the fight! Brock Lesner comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Lesner winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
