Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hal Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Carlos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlos has chosen Stronger as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, George Carlos! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carlos scores with a slapping inside leg kick. A cross from Hill lands. Carlos tries to close the distance and clinch but Hill swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Carlos gets the takedown into side control. Hill tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Carlos presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Carlos scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Hill?

Carlos thowing shots but they're missing. Hill knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carlos on the ground. Hill is trying desperately to improve position. Carlos lands a big elbow. Hill is working to get back to half guard.

He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Carlos's half guard. Carlos is refusing to be controlled, as Hill sits in half guard. Hill blocks the strikes from Carlos.
Hill wants to control but Carlos is keeping him busy. Carlos kicks Hill off and gets back to his feet. Hill will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Carlos tries to land a leg kick but Hill saw it coming and moves away.

Carlos avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hill. Hill wants to free his trapped foot but Carlos is holding on for dear life with his legs. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carlos is trying to stand up here but Hill is controlling him well. Hill is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Carlos reverses the position - he's now on top in Hill's guard. Hill is working an open guard so Carlos takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Hill throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Carlos on the side of the head. Hill lands with an overhand left. Carlos stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Carlos wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hal Hill. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fight stays on the outside here - Carlos looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Carlos swats away the attempt to clinch by Hill. Carlos tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hill paws at him with a jab and circles away. The fight moves into the clinch position. Knees to the body from Carlos.

A nice leg kick lands there from Carlos. Hill drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Carlos tries to escape but Hill is in control. Hill misses with the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carlos is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Hill thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Carlos explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Carlos is looking to clinch but Hill is avoiding it.
Hill tries to close the distance and clinch up but Carlos swats him away and circles back towards the center. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Carlos clinches with his opponent.

George Carlos dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Hill fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Hill shoots in for a double leg but Carlos sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Carlos moves into the clinch successfully.
Carlos crunches a lovely knee into Hill's ribcage. Hill tries to land knees in the clinch but Carlos avoids the damage to the body. Hill is working for takedown but Carlos is calmly controlling the position for now. Carlos breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hal Hill is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Carlos fails in his attempt to clinch. Carlos throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hill's waist but Hill gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Carlos off to one side. Carlos instigates a clinch. Carlos lands a good knee to the midsection. Hill won't want to take too many of those. Carlos using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Hill is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Carlos gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hal Hill. That's going to take a lot out of him. Carlos putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Hill in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A shot in the inside from Carlos. Hill wants a takedown but no success here.

Hill is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Carlos doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hill. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hill is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Carlos still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Carlos has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Carlos decides to stand back up. Carlos steps back and let's Hill get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hill throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Hill scores with a punch to the head. A head kick misses from Carlos. Carlos throws a right hand that Hill ducks under and follows up with a left that Hill also avoids with ease. Hill doesn't manage to clinch there - Carlos circles away.
Hill throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Hill attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Hill avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hill changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Hill throws a leg kick and Carlos holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Hill wants a takedown but no success here.
Carlos gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Come on Carlos - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Carlos is not content to let Hill control the position. Carlos is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Hill asserts his dominance and retains side control. Hill working the ground and pound but Carlos is defending the strikes. Carlos throws Hill to one side and escapes! Hill tries to clinch up and Carlos holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. George Carlos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Hill throws a chopping leg kick but Carlos manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Carlos gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hill to score an easy takedown into full guard. Hill trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Carlos is looking to stand up but Hill isn't so interested in that idea. Hill drops back looking for a leg! Carlos is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Carlos manages to kick Hill off! Hill jumps back into Carlos's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hill has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Carlos is proving hard to escape from. Hill postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill has gone for a leg lock! Carlos slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hill's guard. Carlos stands up and waves to Hill to follow him. Hill jabs Carlos right on the nose. Carlos blinks but takes it well. Carlos wants to clinch. Hill scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Carlos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hill swats him away and circles back towards the center. Hill throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Carlos's waist but Carlos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hill off to one side. Carlos gets a clinch.

Carlos can't keep his opponent in guard - Hill advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Carlos is trying to control but can't.

Hill is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Carlos sees it coming and defends easily. Carlos has one foot on Hill's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Carlos tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hill paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hill moves in looking to clinch but Carlos pushes him off. Hill jabs at Carlos's body. Hill lands a glancing blow to the side of Carlos's head. Hill misses with a low kick as Carlos jumps back. Hill wants to clinch up but Carlos keeps it at a distance. Carlos misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hill shoots for a takedown but Carlos saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Carlos instigates a clinch. Hal Hill has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

George Carlos is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. A big right from Hill misses. Carlos closes the distance and clinches. Carlos crunches a lovely knee into Hill's ribcage. Carlos landing knees to the head.
Carlos comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to George Carlos. I've got Carlos winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
