Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lance Alot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alot comes to the cage accompanied by Ether. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lance Alot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mark Chase!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alot looks for a takedown but Chase sprawls well.
Chase stuffs the takedown attempt from Alot. Alot gets slowly back to his feet.
Alot is looking to clinch.

Alot shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Alot was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Alot has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Chase's face.
Chase holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Alot tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Chase can't escape the position.
Chase bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Chase got a little sloppy there for a moment and Alot has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chase has managed to get both his arms back between Alot's legs - danger averted.
Chase wants to control from the top but Alot keeps moving.

Alot is looking for a triangle here but Chase uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Chase trying to control the position but Alot is working away.
Alot tries to strike but it doesn't land.

Chase is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Alot is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Chase trying to control the action but Alot is working from the bottom.
Chase tries to advance to mount but Alot denies him.
Alot is not content to let Chase control the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Chase has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Alot!
Alot looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Alot is trying to break free.
Chase tries to keep control of the position but Alot is staying busy.
Alot wants to escape the position.

Chase cracks Alot with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Alot from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
I really don't envy Alot right now.
Chase struggling to keep hold of the position.
Alot is really stuck here.
Alot is keeping busy.
Alot tries to escape the position.
Chase connects with a big shot to the side of Alot's head.

Chase is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Chase doesn't have the hooks in and Alot manages to turn into his guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Alot's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Chase tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Alot pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Chase is keeping the position for now.
Alot wants to stand and escape but instead Chase has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Chase trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Chase pushes down on Alot's leg and manages to get into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mark Chase dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Chase moves into the clinch.
Chase stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Alot is trying to break the clinch but Chase has him pressed against the cage.

Alot jumps guard.

Alot looking for a guillotine here but Chase defends easily.
Alot striking off his back but it's not causing Chase any problems.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alot can't keep his opponent in guard - Chase advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Alot is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Chase pulls his head out easily.
Alot tries to get to full guard but Chase has control of the leg.

Chase has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alot wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Alot is really stuck here.
Chase wants to control but Alot is keeping busy.
Alot rolls, trying to escape but Chase keeps control of the position.

Alot turns into Chase and is now in his guard.
Chase trying to keep a closed guard but Alot is proving a slippery customer.

Chase might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Alot kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Alot throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Chase works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Alot with a flurry of punches that miss.
Chase pulls Alot in close to his closed guard and prevents Alot from doing any damage or advancing position.
Alot stopping the sweep attempt from Chase.
Alot missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Chase misses with a takedown attempt

and Alot counters with a takedown into side control.

Chase manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Alot wants to get back to full guard.
Chase is pressing down on Alot's thigh, looking to free his foot. Alot is holding on for now.
Chase is breathing heavily.
Alot is staying active underneath Chase, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Alot tries to get to full guard but Chase has control of the leg.
Alot throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Alot gets back to full guard.
Chase trying to control but Alot is working from the bottom.

Alot is looking for a triangle here but Chase uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Alot wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Chase is looking to take a break and control but Alot is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Chase passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Alot!

A close second round but Mark Chase will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Alot flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Chase misses with a takedown attempt

and Alot counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Chase's guard now.
Chase seems keen to control Alot's posture.
Chase is trying to keep Alot in close.
Alot is working Chase over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Chase wants to sweep but no luck.
Chase preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Chase trying to keep a closed guard but Alot is proving a slippery customer.
Alot throws and elbow that misses. Chase uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Alot's guard. Nice move by Chase!

Chase sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Alot's guard.

Alot looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Alot throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Chase manages to pass to side control.
Lance Alot has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Chase is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Alot looks calm but he's in trouble here. Chase gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Alot is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Chase lets go of the hold and Alot can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Mark Chase!
