7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roddy Bowes! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bowes throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sobchak . Roddy Bowes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bowes moves in looking to clinch but Sobchak pushes him off. A head kick misses from Bowes. Bowes misses with an uppercut. Sobchak saw that one coming. Sobchak ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bowes on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Sobchak . Sobchak obviously looking to wear him down.
Bowes throws a leg kick and Sobchak counters with a thumping low kick. Bowes looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sobchak clinches up against the cage. Sobchak tries to land a knee to the head but Bowes blocks with his arms.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Sobchak takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Sobchak is leaning against Bowes and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Sobchak scores with a knee to the head.

Sobchak can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bowes is looking to escape. Bowes seems to have recovered his senses. The referee warns Bowes that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Whack. That's a big, big shot from Sobchak ! Bowes is out cold! This one is all over!
