The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels fails in his attempt to clinch.
Daniels wants to clinch.
Mecos throws a half hearted mid kick.
Daniels tries to clinch up.
Daniels lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Ericson Mecos has been cut.
Daniels thows a left - swing and a miss!
Billy Daniels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Daniels jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Mecos closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Daniels did well to prevent Mecos getting side control.
Daniels wants to get back to his feet.

Mecos is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Daniels is just riding it out for now. Mecos eventually gives up the hold.
