Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Seagal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steven Seagal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Price! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Price swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Seagal dives in and grabs Price's left leg, looking for a takedown. Price pushes down on Seagal's head and hops out. Seagal fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Price misses with a body shot.
Seagal shoots for a double leg takedown but Price sprawls well. He's pushed Seagal's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steven Seagal. That's going to take a lot out of him. Price stuns Seagal with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. A combination from Price does no damage. Horrible takedown by Seagal or perhaps it was just good defense by Price which made him look bad. Price throws a jab when Seagal was well out of range. Nice cross by Price. Price throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A big right from Price misses. Seagal shoots for a takedown but Price saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Seagal shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Seagal bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Seagal fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Seagal slips a jab from Price. Seagal tries for a takedown but Price sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Price looks to land a combination but Seagal avoids it well. Jimmy Price seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Price lands a jab to the head.
Seagal gets the takedown into side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Price is trying to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Price is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Seagal is controlling him well. Seagal tries for a kimura but Price is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Price tries to bench press Seagal off him but Seagal keeps the position. Price gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Price looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Price is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Seagal pulls his head out easily. Seagal looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Price is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Price makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Price goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. A looping hook to the body misses from Seagal. Price does a little dance to reset his feet. Seagal misses with a takedown attempt - Price sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Price misses with a few strikes there.
Seagal moves out of range as Price strikes. Seagal ducks under a wild hook from Price. Price connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Seagal. Price lands with an overhand left. Jimmy Price is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice uppercut lands for Price. That snapped Seagal's head back.
Price stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Price wants it to stay on the feet. Seagal shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Price's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Seagal passes into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Seagal is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Price defends it well. Seagal is breathing heavily. Price manages to get to full guard.
Price tries to land a sweep but no joy. Seagal throwing strikes but missing. Price is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Price wants to sweep but no luck. Price working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Seagal. Price is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Seagal landing with the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Seagal is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Price is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Price has escaped and now he's on top! Price pushing down on Seagal's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Seagal landing small, sideways elbows. Price is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Seagal doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Price. Seagal looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Seagal is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Price's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Price's back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Price dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Seagal takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Seagal avoids the head kick by Price.
Jimmy Price is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Seagal bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Seagal has knee on belly and moves into mount. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Price is looking to get to half guard. Price sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Price has hold of Seagal's hands but Seagal slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Price works his way to full guard. Good work. Seagal postures up.

Price misses with a jab to the body
and Seagal counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Price! Seagal landing strikes from the mount and Price is in trouble! Price is looking to get to half guard. Price defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Seagal. This has been an exciting period of action! Seagal swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Price is now in Seagal's guard. A big mistake from Seagal there, giving up the dominant position!

Price advances to half guard. Price moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Seagal. Price fails to land a wild elbow strike.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Price punishes Seagal's body with a nice straight punch. Price connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Price lands a jab to the head.
Seagal blocks a jab. Seagal dives in and grabs Price's left leg, looking for a takedown. Price pushes down on Seagal's head and hops out. Price dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Price swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Seagal has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Price connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Price misses with a jab, cross combination.
Danga de danga de dang - Price scores with a four punch combination! Price moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Price fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Seagal looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Seagal takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. A slow jab from Price misses its intended target. Price with a jab. Seagal gets a takedown into half guard. Price slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Price looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Seagal wants to pass the guard but Price is keeping the position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Price working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Seagal doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Seagal manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Seagal lands a couple of elbows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Price showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Price misses with a straight left. Jimmy Price seems to be getting the better of the standup. Good standup being displayed there by Price as he connects with a hook. Excellent takedown into side control there by Seagal. Seagal looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Seagal is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Price knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Price dodges the ground and pound from Seagal. Seagal is working Price over with some ground and pound from side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Price manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Seagal is refusing to be controlled, as Price sits in half guard. Seagal tries to get to full guard but Price has control of the leg.

Price trying to control but he's not successful this time. Price breaks from Seagal's wrist control and lands an elbow. Price throws some wild stikes that Seagal manages to avoid easily.
Seagal holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Price tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Seagal is looking to improve his position but Price isn't that keen on the idea. Seagal swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Price throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Seagal because Price loaded up on that one. Seagal flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Price thowing shots but they're missing. Seagal keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Steven Seagal has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Seagal is in a horrible position here. Price smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Price has hold of Seagal's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Seagal manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Price unloads with some shots from mount but Seagal bucks and avoids them well.

He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Seagal throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Price works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Seagal is looking to work some ground and pound but Price has wrist control. Seagal throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Price looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Price is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Seagal lands a couple of decent looking shots. Seagal content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Seagal got a little sloppy there for a moment and Price has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Seagal has managed to get both his arms back between Price's legs - danger averted. Seagal works over Price with some ground and pound from guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Seagal drops back looking for a leg! Price is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Price manages to kick Seagal off! Seagal jumps back into Price's guard. Seagal scoring with punches to the head and body. Price is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Jimmy Price is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Price lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Seagal!
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Steven Seagal. I think Price has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
