Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yoshihiro Akiyama!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mohammed Smith!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akiyama lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smith circles away quickly and effectively.
A head kick misses from Smith.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Smith.
Akiyama takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Akiyama throws a series of punches but Smith avoids them all with ease.
A right-left combo lands from Akiyama.
Smith walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Smith misses with a leg kick.
Smith has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Smith throws a head kick that misses.
Akiyama lunges at Smith with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Smith's hand.
Smith is rocked!
Akiyama steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Smith is out on his feet! Akiyama sets himself and nearly takes Smith's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Yoshihiro Akiyama!
