Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Thomas Benjamin Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Raul Karhim! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karhim misses with the combination.
Benjamin Jr keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Karhim takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Benjamin Jr dodges the punch combination from Karhim.
Karhim tries to close the distance and clinch but Benjamin Jr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Benjamin Jr shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Karhim can't escape the position.
Karhim tries to hold on but Benjamin Jr pushes him away. A nice elbow there by Benjamin Jr. Benjamin Jr in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Benjamin Jr is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Karhim can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Benjamin Jr has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Benjamin Jr takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Karhim is bucking up trying to escape but Benjamin Jr cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
It looks like Raul Karhim has been cut. Karhim really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Benjamin Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Karhim takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Benjamin Jr's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thomas Benjamin Jr!
