Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ashton Walters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kick Ass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kick Ass will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ashton Walters! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kick Ass! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ass shoots in but no luck this time. Ass looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Walters moves in looking to clinch but Ass pushes him off. Walters tries to clinch up. Ass circles away from the clinch attempt.
Walters gets a clinch. Walters breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ass gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Walters trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ass's guard. Ass tries to land a sweep but no joy. Ass is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Walters stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ass swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ass pulls Walters in close to his closed guard and prevents Walters from doing any damage or advancing position. Ass wants to get back to his feet but Walters is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Ass keeping moving, preventing Walters from controlling successfully.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Walters tries to clinch but Ass moves out of range. Ass shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Ass is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Walters is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ass is controlling him. Ass not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. I looks like Ass might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Walters has control of Ass's left arm, preventing Ass from doing any damage. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Walters keeping moving, preventing Ass from controlling successfully. Walters wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Walters would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Walters is fighting to break Ass's control of his arms but Ass is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Walters could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Walters trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ass's guard. Walters has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Ass manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Ass gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Walters counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Ass shoots in and bounces Walters off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Ass is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Walters holds on and takes a little breather. Ass trying to control the position from guard on top but Walters is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ass is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Walters has control of Ass's left arm, preventing Ass from doing any damage. Walters lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ass!

That was a close round but I would say that Ashton Walters will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ashton Walters's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Walters might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ass is stalling in the full guard. Ass won't allow Walters to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ass pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Walters is keeping the position for now.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Walters has closed the distance and engaged Ass in a clinch.
Ass keeps control of Walters as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Walters turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Walters manages to end up in side control. Walters working away. Walters tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Walters takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Ass has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Walters tries to kick Ass off but Ass keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Walters is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Walters is working hard here to advance position. Ass is taking a breather. Walters says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Ass uses his free foot to push down on Walters's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Walters. Walters tries to get back to half guard but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ass fails to move to back control. Walters keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

And that's the end of the fight! Kick Ass comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Ass has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
