Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Wilson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, William Bob! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bob. Bob gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Wilson working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bob's head. Bob keeping full guard, as Wilson tries to pass. Wilson chips away with some ground and pound. Wilson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bob is keeping the position for now. Bob looking for a guillotine here but Wilson defends easily.
Bob is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Wilson wants to control but Bob is keeping busy and won't allow it. Wilson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bob not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Bob wants to work for an arm triangle but Wilson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson tries to roll over but Bob keeps him under control. Bob not landing any meaningful shots this time. Bob thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Wilson to regain full guard. Wilson looking for a sweep. Not yet Wilson, not yet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bob misses with a double jab
and Wilson counters with a left and a right that stings Bob. Bob swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Wilson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Left hook, right uppercut from Bob. A nice combination there by Wilson.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Bob looking for subs off his back but Wilson has passed one foot through into half guard.
Wilson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Wilson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilson moves into full mount! Bob won't be happy about that! Wilson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Wilson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Wilson working for a guillotine from mount but Bob is in no mood to give up. Wilson looking for a guillotine from mount but Bob is having none of it. Wilson looking to control but Bob is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Wilson connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Wilson cracks Bob with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bob is in all sorts of trouble here.
Wilson tries to control but Bob wriggling away. Bob trying desperately to get to his feet.
Wilson controlling from the full mount. Bob slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Wilson is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Bob makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bob. Wilson stands and steps away. Bob gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Wilson closes the distance and clinches up with Bob, looking for a takedown. Wilson pushes Bob against the ropes but Bob circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bob misses with a double jab
and Wilson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bob won't be happy with that. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Wilson stands up and beckons Bob to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bob falls off balance throwing a combination
and Wilson counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Bob works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wilson uses the ropes to get back to his feet.

and Wilson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Wilson is pressing down on Bob's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bob is holding on for now. Wilson lands with a punch from half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Wilson passes to side control. Wilson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Wilson dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Wilson counters with a shoot takedown. Bob fights it but they end up in guard. Wilson has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Bob to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Wilson is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Bob pulls down on the head and he's put Wilson to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). William Bob!
