The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pekkanen misses with a hook. McCluskey ducked under it nicely.

McCluskey wants to clinch.
McCluskey fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pekkanen avoids it really well and circles away.
McCluskey tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pekkanen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
McCluskey looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pekkanen is fending him off so far but McCluskey persists. Nope, Pekkanen circles away and we're back to standing.

Pekkanen lands a big head kick that sends McCluskey to the canvas! Pekkanen follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
