The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Thomas.
Thomas misses with a few strikes there.
Turner throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Turner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Thomas takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Turner throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Thomas sees it coming and avoids it easily.
John Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thomas moves away.
Thomas lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Turner circles away quickly and effectively.
Thomas misses with a leg kick
and Turner counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Mike Thomas has been cut.
Thomas blocks a jab.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Thomas has eaten all the pies!
Thomas on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Turner. Turner obviously looking to wear him down.

A head kick by Turner - that's a beauty! Thomas is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Turner can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
