Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
griga throws a leg kick but Filho sees it coming and moves out of range.
Filho showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from griga.
Filho tries to close the distance and clinch up but griga swats him away and circles back towards the center.
griga takes a swing at Filho's ribcage but misses.
griga changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Filho tries to avoid it but griga manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Filho to the ground. Filho escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Filho misses with a head kick.
Filho fails to land with a series of punches.

and griga counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Filho's guard now.
Filho doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

griga must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Filho isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. griga stacks Filho on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by griga!

Well griga has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
