Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steiner shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Thousand pinned against the cage. Thousand gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Thousand slips under a jab.
Steiner takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Steiner moves forwards but Thousand connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Steiner walks into a left hand.
A leg kick checked by Thousand.
Steiner tries to clinch but Thousand is having none of it.
Thousand walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Thousand throws a right and a left that Steiner avoids nicely.
Nice jab there from Thousand.
It looks like Macho Steiner has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Steiner throws a low kick but it's checked well by Thousand.
Steiner thumps Thousand with a low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thousand connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Steiner momentarily.
Thousand ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Brian Thousand is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Thousand throws a body punch but Steiner moves out of range.
Thousand fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Steiner looks gassed!
Thousand feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Steiner sprawling to the canvas! Steiner rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Thousand finish him?!
Steiner is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Thousand digs a good hook to Steiner's body.

Thousand scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Steiner seems to have recovered his senses.

Thousand walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Steiner drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Thousand swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Steiner's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
