Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Der Scheiser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Mana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scheiser has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Der Scheiser! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Mana! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scheiser closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Scheiser lands in his opponent's guard. Scheiser really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Scheiser is breathing heavily. Mana working a defensive guard here.
Mana wants to stand but Scheiser is controlling the position. Mana wants to sweep here but Scheiser controlling him for the moment. Mana tries to strike from the bottom.
Mana is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Scheiser postures up.
Mana had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Scheiser is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Mana Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Scheiser's back instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mana has the hooks in. Scheiser is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Mana is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Mana gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Mana gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Mana apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Mana shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Scheiser counters with a shoot takedown. Mana fights it but they end up in guard. Mana looking for a guillotine here but Scheiser defends easily.
Scheiser is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Mana is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Mana tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mana doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Scheiser will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Mana trying to keep a closed guard but Scheiser is proving a slippery customer.
Mana looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mana will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Mana misses with a shot to the body and Mana takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Scheiser tries for a takedown but Mana circles away easily and Mana counters with a nice double leg into side control. Scheiser won't be happy with that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mana stands up. Mana bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scheiser is looking to reverse the position. Scheiser is trying to control Mana's posture but Mana avoids it. Mana looking to control but instead Scheiser has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Mana trying to control from half guard but Scheiser is working away. Mana seems to be looking for submissions.
Scheiser trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Mana manages to pass to mount!
Mana can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Scheiser is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Mana controlling from the full mount. Mana is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Mana tries to clinch but Scheiser moves away and Scheiser counters with a flying knee. Nice. The fight stays on the outside here - Mana looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mana throws a head kick but Scheiser moves out of range.
Mana tries for a takedown but Scheiser sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Scheiser tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Mana counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mana. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Mana dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Scheiser tries to clinch but Mana moves out of range. Mana scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Scheiser tries for a takedown but Mana circles away easily and Mana counters with a nice double leg into guard. Mana looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Mana must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Mana is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there. Mana sitting in guard here, content to control. Scheiser tries to strike from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mana is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Scheiser wants to sweep but no luck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Scheiser is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Mana is looking to work some ground and pound but Scheiser has wrist control. Mana stays in close to Scheiser's body and controls the position. Mana decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Mana pivots, looking for a leg kick but Scheiser is out of range and Mana settles back down. Scheiser tries for a takedown but Mana circles away easily and Mana counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Scheiser is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mana is thwarting Scheiser's attempts to control the position. Scheiser tries to get to full guard but Mana has control of the leg. Mana trying to control from half guard but Scheiser is working away. Scheiser is trying to control but Mana manages to pass to mount!
Scheiser is desperately trying to improve his position but Mana has a good base and remains in mount. Mana with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Mana goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Scheiser turns into him and now he's in Mana's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scheiser pushes down on Mana's leg and manages to get into half guard. Mana throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Scheiser is looking to pass Mana's guard but actually Mana recovers to full guard. Mana controls Scheiser momentarily but Scheiser frees himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Scheiser trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Scheiser won't allow Mana to get back to his feet. Scheiser sitting in guard here, content to control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Scheiser with a poor takedown and Mana counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Der Scheiser. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mana looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Mana stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Scheiser to get to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Mana showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Mana tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Mana throws a sloppy head kick and Scheiser decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mana's guard. Mana is trying to control the position but Scheiser postures up. Mana is controlling Scheiser's posture. Mana can't keep his opponent in guard - Scheiser advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Scheiser missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Mana is refusing to be controlled, as Scheiser sits in half guard. Scheiser not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mana is trying to control but can't.
Scheiser seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scheiser blocks the strikes from Mana.
It looks like Scheiser is going to stand back up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Scheiser thuds his shin into the meat of Mana's side. Scheiser tries for a takedown but Mana circles away easily and Mana counters with a takedown into side control. Mana wants to control but Scheiser is keeping him busy. Mana content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Scheiser throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scheiser gets back to half guard. Scheiser looking for submissions off his back. Mana looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Mana thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Scheiser's head. Mana gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Mana fails with the takedown. Scheiser drives through with a takedown into guard. Mana looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Mana has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Scheiser can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Scheiser trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scheiser is looking to stand up but Mana won't let him. Mana working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Scheiser doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Scheiser manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Mana working a defensive guard but Scheiser manages to pass into side control anyway.
Mana is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Scheiser asserts his dominance and retains side control. Mana really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Scheiser. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Scheiser bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Der Scheiser has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mana is trying to improve his position.
And that's the end of the fight! Der Scheiser showed his dominance in that final round. I think Mana has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
