Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Grant Warburton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thaddeus Manos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thaddeus Manos will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Grant Warburton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Thaddeus Manos!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warburton shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Manos moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Manos closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Warburton did well to prevent Manos getting side control.
Manos looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Warburton with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Manos is thwarting Warburton's attempts to control the position.
Warburton is staying active underneath Manos, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Manos has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Manos is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Manos is stalling here. Warburton is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Manos seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Warburton has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Manos is doing well to control the position and prevent Warburton from advancing to side control.

Manos seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Warburton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Warburton is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Manos clinches up with Warburton and pushes him back against the ropes.

Manos is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Warburton is just riding it out for now. Manos eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Warburton on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Warburton tries to get out of the position.
Warburton is in trouble now - Manos has advanced to mount!
Manos can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Warburton is looking to escape.

Manos stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Manos tries to clinch but Warburton is having none of it.

Manos clinches up with Warburton and pushes him back against the ropes.

Manos is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Warburton is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Manos postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Manos advances to full mount.

Manos is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Warburton is surviving well by controlling Manos's body position as best he can.

Manos looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Manos pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Manos lands a big shot there that rocks Warburton but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Thaddeus Manos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Manos fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Manos tries to close the distance and clinch but Warburton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Warburton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Manos manages to avoid it.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Manos decides to pull guard.
Warburton has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Warburton is fighting to break Manos's control of his arms but Manos is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Manos is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Warburton has his hands clasped together but Manos extends an breaks Warburton's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Manos.
