Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Drake Vonstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Choo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vonstein comes to the cage accompanied by Seether - Remedy. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Drake Vonstein! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Daniel Choo! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vonstein throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Vonstein shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Vonstein showed some decent athleticism there. Vonstein slips a nice elbow through Choo's hands, connecting with Choo's forehead. Choo wants to control but Vonstein is keeping busy and won't allow it. Vonstein trying to control from half guard but Choo is working away. Vonstein is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vonstein thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Choo avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Vonstein.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Choo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Choo is looking to stall here but Vonstein recovers full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Choo trying to control but Vonstein is working from the bottom. Choo looking to sit in guard and control but Vonstein gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Choo is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Vonstein won't allow Choo to sweep him here. Vonstein pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Choo is keeping the position for now. Vonstein throws a big right hand that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Choo has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Choo keeping full guard, as Vonstein tries to pass.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Vonstein scores a takedown into full mount! Choo is desperately trying to improve his position but Vonstein has a good base and remains in mount. Vonstein trying to control but he's not successful this time. Vonstein goes for an armbar but Choo turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Choo. Choo lying in Vonstein's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Vonstein decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Choo taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
