The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stanford tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ashoka swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Stanford misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Stanford lands with a kick to the temple. Ashoka shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Darrian Ashoka has been cut.
Ashoka shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Ashoka seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
