The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNulty looks to land a combination but Shidoshi avoids it well.
McNulty is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Shidoshi scores with a nice right hand.
McNulty wants to clinch up but Shidoshi keeps it at a distance.
McNulty tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Shidoshi is able to avoid easily.
Shidoshi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McNulty.
The fight stays on the outside here - McNulty looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
McNulty misses with a series of wild punches.
McNulty tries to close the distance and clinch up but Shidoshi swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Shidoshi jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but McNulty manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Shidoshi goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, McNulty rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Shidoshi's guard! Nice work there by McNulty!
McNulty wants to stand but Shidoshi has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Shidoshi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Shidoshi is keen to just control but McNulty is a slippery customer.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
McNulty knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shidoshi on the ground.
Shidoshi is nestled in close to McNulty, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
McNulty is staying active underneath Shidoshi, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

McNulty lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shidoshi circles away quickly and effectively.

That was a close second round but I would say that Brian McNulty will probably get the nod.

Tanaka Shidoshi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Shidoshi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
