Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Thiago Junitzu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Moss.
Junitzu lands a head kick. Moss smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
A jab from Moss misses.
Moss tries to close the distance and clinch up but Junitzu swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Moss fails with the takedown.
Moss tries to clinch up but Junitzu circles away and keeps his distance.
Moss shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Junitzu as he jumps to the side.
Thiago Junitzu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Moss.
Junitzu uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Moss.
Junitzu fails with the takedown

and Moss counters by moving into the clinch.
Moss can't break the clinch.
Moss is trying to break the clinch but Junitzu has him pressed against the cage.
Junitzu drops down looking for an ankle pick but Moss pulls his leg out and moves away.
Moss shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Junitzu counters with a left and a right that stings Moss.

Moss misses with a double jab

and Junitzu counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Junitzu scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Junitzu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moss swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Moss looking for a sweep. Not yet Moss, not yet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Junitzu tries to free his leg and advance position but Moss is retaining full guard.
Junitzu landing with the ground and pound.

Junitzu stands and steps away. Moss gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Billy Moss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Junitzu tries for a takedown but Moss circles away easily

and Moss counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Moss.
Moss looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Junitzu wants to stand and escape but Moss is having none of it.

Junitzu kicks Moss off and gets to his feet.

Junitzu shoots in and bounces Moss off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Junitzu really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Junitzu counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moss wants to stand and escape but Junitzu is having none of it.
Moss is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Junitzu dives into side control.
Moss is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Junitzu is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Moss is wriggling around trying to escape.
Moss really wants to buck Junitzu off and get back to his feet.

Junitzu working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Moss looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Junitzu! Submission of the night perhaps?
