Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Reginald Thornsby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bugs McGillicutty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bugs McGillicutty was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bugs McGillicutty!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thornsby doesn't manage to clinch there - McGillicutty circles away.
Thornsby cracks McGillicutty with a right hand to the side of the head.
McGillicutty cracks Thornsby with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Reginald Thornsby has been cut.
Thornsby shoots in looking for a takedown. McGillicutty tries to sprawl out of it but Thornsby keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McGillicutty manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Thornsby misses with a series of wild punches.

McGillicutty connects with a nice looking jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from McGillicutty.
Thornsby fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McGillicutty manages to avoid it.
Thornsby takes a swing at McGillicutty's ribcage but misses.
Thornsby drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Thornsby swings and misses with a shot to the body
and McGillicutty counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by McGillicutty.
Thornsby is trying to break free.
McGillicutty breaks the clinch.
McGillicutty misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
McGillicutty throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Thornsby slips under a jab from McGillicutty.
McGillicutty scores with a nice body kick.
McGillicutty throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Bugs McGillicutty is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thornsby throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Thornsby moves away from the strike by McGillicutty.
Thornsby moves out of range as McGillicutty throws a body kick.
Thornsby looks up at the clock. Bad move! McGillicutty lands a right hand from hell, dropping Thornsby. McGillicutty pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bugs McGillicutty!
