Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Katana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rusty Starks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Katana's entrance music is Baby got back. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rusty Starks!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starks keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Katana.
Starks shoots in looking for a takedown. Katana tries to sprawl out of it but Starks keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Katana manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Katana throws a right and a left that Starks avoids nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Starks gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Katana to score an easy takedown into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Starks working for a triangle but Katana defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Katana wants to get up but he can't break Starks's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Starks pushes a forearm under Katana's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Katana is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
