The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCredie avoids the body shot from Malik.
McCredie looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
McCredie takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
McCredie on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Malik scores with a body shot.
McCredie shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Malik circles away from the clinch attempt.
McCredie fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A lazy left from Malik finds it's target.
It looks like David McCredie has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McCredie walks straight into a right hand from Malik - that's dropped him! Malik jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save McCredie from any more punishment! McCredie complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
