Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roy Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tin Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peters's entrance music is Sid Vicious - My Way. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roy Peters! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tin Mann! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peters looks to land a left hand but Mann moved out of range nicely. Peters throws a sloppy head kick and Mann moves out of range easily. Mann takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Mann uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Peters.
Peters changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Peters moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Mann looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Mann fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Peters avoids it really well and circles away. Peters scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mann in his tracks. Mann shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Peters but Peters pushes him off and we're back to square one. Mann misses with a body shot.
Peters throws a jab but it's blocked by Mann. Mann takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
This has been an exciting period of action! Mann takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Peters falls off balance throwing a combination
so Mann counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Peters manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mann manages to get himself to full guard.
Mann had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Peters defends it easily. Mann looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Peters controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Peters trying to control the position from guard on top but Mann is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Peters showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Peters has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Peters wants to get up but he can't break Mann's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Peters is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Peters wanted to stand there but Mann had control of the position. Mann escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Peters gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Peters avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Mann is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Peters looking to pass the guard. Peters trying to control but Mann is working from the bottom. Peters wants to stand but Mann has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Mann looking for a guillotine here but Peters defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peters landing some decent shots from guard. Mann throws his legs up looking for a submission but Peters uses it to pass to side control.
Peters stands up and beckons Mann to his feet. Roy Peters is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mann tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Mann lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Peters scores with a three punch combo!
Peters takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Mann avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Peters lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mann at a distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peters scores with a nice strike. Mann ducks right into an uppercut from Peters. Peters bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Peters fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
