The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burger lands a jab to the nose.
Burger takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Sam is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sam takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Burger lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Sam darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Burger keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Burger is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sam's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sam's back!
Burger is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

Burger is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Sam has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Burger is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Sam is defending well though. Burger let's go of the attempt for now.

Burger is trying to stick to Sam's back but Sam is turning into Burger. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Burger's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Sam.

Sam got a little sloppy there for a moment and Burger has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sam has managed to get both his arms back between Burger's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Sam is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Burger is just riding it out for now. Sam eventually gives up the hold.
Sam wants to pass to mount but Burger is defending the position.
Burger wants to control but Sam is keeping busy.
Sam is looking to take a break and control but Burger is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Burger holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Burger might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
