Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Guerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guerra comes into the arena with The Sound Of Thruth - As I Lay Dying blaring out of the sound system. Jake Tyler acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Diego Guerra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jake Tyler! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Daniel Cesar and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Tyler. Tyler gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Guerra to score an easy takedown into full guard. Guerra is standing up over Tyler. Tyler looks to escape but Guerra dives into side control.
Guerra wants to control but Tyler is keeping him busy. Tyler avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Guerra. Guerra goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Tyler rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Guerra's guard! Nice work there by Tyler! Tyler must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Guerra will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tyler trying to stand up but can't free himself from Guerra's guard. Guerra is looking for a triangle but Tyler pushes his legs off easily.
Tyler has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Guerra is proving hard to escape from. Tyler decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Guerra, up you get! Guerra tries to clinch there but Tyler circles away.
Guerra shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tyler sprawls well. Tyler wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Guerra gets slowly back to his feet. Guerra looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Guerra throws a strike but Tyler rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Tyler stands up and waves to Guerra to follow him. Tyler defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Guerra. Tyler throws a head kick but Guerra moves out of range.

Guerra looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Tyler! Guerra throws some wild stikes that Tyler manages to avoid easily.
Guerra throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Tyler because Guerra loaded up on that one. A nice elbow there by Guerra.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guerra tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Guerra throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Guerra throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Guerra wants to finish this one by submission but Tyler is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Guerra. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Guerra looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Guerra is breathing heavily. Guerra goes for an armbar but Tyler turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Tyler. Guerra has a closed guard, preventing Tyler from standing up. Guerra throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Tyler wanted to stand there but Guerra had control of the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Diego Guerra dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Guerra shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tyler's guard. Guerra controlling from the top position. Tyler is looking to stand back up but Guerra counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Tyler. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Guerra is keen to just control but Tyler is a slippery customer. Guerra thows a huge punch but Tyler dodges it nicely.
Tyler is trying to stand up here but Guerra is controlling him well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guerra seems to be working for a kimura but Tyler defends the submission attempt. Guerra not landing any meaningful shots this time. Ground and pound from Guerra. Guerra missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Guerra thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tyler's head. Guerra lands strikes from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guerra seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tyler does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Tyler is breathing heavily. Tyler is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Guerra scores with a couple of nice shots. Tyler is looking to escape. Guerra lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Diego Guerra overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Guerra lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Guerra seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tyler does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tyler wants to get back to his feet. Guerra is keen to just control but Tyler is a slippery customer. Guerra scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Tyler taking some punishment here, with Guerra in his half guard. Guerra throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Guerra is looking for a kimura but Tyler is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Guerra to get the leverage. Guerra thows a huge punch but Tyler dodges it nicely.

Guerra uses his free foot to push down on Tyler's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Tyler. A nice elbow there by Guerra. Guerra postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tyler looks a forlorn figure.
Guerra can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tyler is looking to escape. Guerra with shots to the head and body - Tyler looks very uncomfortable down there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Diego Guerra dominated that second round. That's time! Guerra's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Guerra takes the fight into the clinch. A frustrated look appears on Tyler's face as he tries to break the clinch. Tyler tries to break free but Guerra pushes him back against the ropes. Guerra lands with a light punch inside. Guerra landing knees to the head.
It looks like Jake Tyler has been cut. Tyler manages to break the clinch.

Guerra scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Guerra creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Guerra is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tyler knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Guerra in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guerra tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Guerra has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Guerra throws an elbow but Tyler slips to the side and avoids it well. Guerra creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Guerra lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guerra tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Guerra lands a few punches from side control. The ground and pound from Guerra seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Guerra trying to control the action but Tyler is working from the bottom. Guerra lands a few punches from side control. Tyler is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Guerra asserts his dominance and retains side control. Guerra is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tyler knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Diego Guerra is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tyler is not content to let Guerra control the position. Guerra misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Guerra trying to control the action but Tyler is working from the bottom. Guerra is putting a hurting on Tyler here, landing some big shots from side control. The referee asks Guerra politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Guerra prefers to stall for the moment though.
And that's the end of the fight! Diego Guerra showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Guerra, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
