Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joey The Lion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jongwoo Park! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Park. Park swinging wildly here.
Park is looking to clinch. Park moves into range and clinches up with The Lion. The Lion changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Park fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Park scores with a takedown into The Lion's guard. The Lion can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Park controls the pace. The Lion looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Park has picked The Lion up and slammed him! The Lion can't keep hold of the triangle and Park manages to pass to side control! Park decides to stand up, so the ref orders The Lion to his feet. Park shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Park perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Park working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Park controlling the pace. Park seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Well, if Park is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Park wants to pass to mount but The Lion is defending the position. Park performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Park tries to stand but can't do so whilst The Lion controls his leg. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jongwoo Park just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Park throws a series of punches but The Lion avoids them all with ease. No luck with that takedown attempt from Park. Park misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from The Lion.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Park is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Park has closed the distance and engaged The Lion in a clinch.
Park jumps guard but The Lion stands there with Park around his waist. Park gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Park scoring with punches and elbows. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Park stands up. Park shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Park stays in close to The Lion's body and controls the position. Park is pushing down on The Lion's leg trying to pass to half guard. The Lion is fighting to maintain full guard but Park has managed to sneak the leg through. This has been an exciting period of action! Park controlling the action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The Lion is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Park pulls his head out easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jongwoo Park dominated that round. The cut man is working on Joey The Lion's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Park scores with a crisp jab that stopped The Lion in his tracks. Park looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for The Lion! Park has isolated one of The Lion's arms. The Lion looking to fight him off but Park twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
