Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fidel Castroy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Imma Monster!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monster fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Castroy. No joy for Monster on that attempt.
Monster wants to clinch up but Castroy keeps it at a distance.
Castroy clinches up against the cage.
Monster's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
It looks like Imma Monster has been cut.
Monster jumps guard but Castroy stands there with Monster around his waist. Monster gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Fidel Castroy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Imma Monster.
Castroy lands a body punch in the clinch.
Monster stalling in the clinch but Castroy improves position.
Monster looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Monster tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Castroy swings wildly with an uppercut but Monster uses good head movement to avoid it.
Monster blocks an uppercut.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Castroy.

Monster tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Castroy avoids it.
Castroy lands a body shot in the clinch.
Castroy has Monster pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Castroy pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Monster tumbling to the mat - Castroy dives into Monster's guard.
Castroy gets to his feet. Monster looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Monster looks gassed!

Monster misses with a takedown attempt - Castroy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Horrible takedown by Monster or perhaps it was just good defense by Castroy which made him look bad.
Castroy closes the distance and pushes Monster back into the cage.
Monster prevents the takedown attempt.
Monster tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Castroy smiles and moves away.
Castroy closes the distance but Monster moves to the side
and Monster counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Castroy gets control of Monster's arms and successfully pulls guard. Castroy will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Castroy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Castroy pushes Monster off and gets back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Castroy forces Monster back against the cage and clinches.
Castroy tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Castroy fails to pull guard.
Monster has Castroy pressed against the cage, preventing Castroy from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Castroy tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Monster smiles and moves away.
Monster looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Castroy is fending him off so far but Monster persists. Nope, Castroy circles away and we're back to standing.

Castroy tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Monster counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Monster.
Castroy is trying to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Monster breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Castroy tries to clinch but Monster moves away
and Monster counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Monster throws a head kick but Castroy moves out of range.
Castroy leaves Monster with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Monster wants to clinch up but Castroy keeps it at a distance.
Castroy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Monster as he avoids it easily.
Monster misses with a double jab.
Castroy closes the distance looking to clinch
and Monster counters with a nice double leg into side control. Castroy won't be happy with that.
Castroy dodges the ground and pound from Monster.
Monster is looking to take a break and control but Castroy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Castroy bucks up and tries to throw Monster off but instead Monster has got his back!
Monster throwing wild punches that miss their target.
Castroy holding both Monster 's hands and preventing any damage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Castroy is taking damage to the body and head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Fidel Castroy will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Imma Monster's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Castroy darts in trying to clinch
and Monster finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
A decent looking cross lands there for Monster.
It looks like Fidel Castroy has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Monster will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Monster misses with a series of wild punches.
Castroy clinches but Monster breaks the clinch
and Monster counters with a massive head kick! KABOOM! Castroy is out cold! A devastating KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Imma Monster!
