The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Conor drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Wright looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Conor trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Wright keeping full guard, as Conor tries to pass.
Conor is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Conor trying to control but Wright is working from the bottom.

Conor stands and steps away. Wright gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Brian Wright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Conor tries to clinch there but Wright circles away.
Wright throws a leg kick that misses.

Conor drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Conor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Conor has hold of Wright's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Wright tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Conor cranks the arm and Wright screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Wright, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
