Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Steve Montenegro and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bell fails to land the takedown.
Bell needs to keep his hands up - Jones had a free shot at his head there.
A punch combination from Jones misses.
Jones misses with a straight right.
A big right from Jones misses.
Jones throws a hook but Bell avoids it easily.
Jones scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bell doesn't seem bothered though.
Bell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Jones tries to bum rush Bell with a series of wild strikes but Bell uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bell shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jones connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bell momentarily.
Jones missing with a left hand there. Bell was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jones misses with a body shot.
Bell attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Bell moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off.
Jones misses with a looping right.
Bell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nathan Bell. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bell shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jones is trying to defend but Bell finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bell decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Jones swats away the attempt to clinch by Bell.
Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Bell, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jones scores with a punch to the head.
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jones scores with a jab. Bell acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Jones catches Bell with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Jones moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
A jab from Jones does it's job there.

Bell is rocked!
Jones steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Bell is out on his feet! Jones sets himself and nearly takes Bell's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
