The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glushkov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mitchel avoids it really well and circles away.
Mitchel throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Sergey Glushkov has been cut.

Glushkov shoots in and drives through. Mitchel sprawls well.
Roy Mitchel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergey Glushkov.
Glushkov shoots in for a takedown but Mitchel shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Mitchel tries to bum rush Glushkov with a series of wild strikes but Glushkov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Glushkov seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Mitchel shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Glushkov is backing up but Mitchel catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Glushkov covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Mitchel Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roy Mitchel!
