Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marco Ruas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjamin Money (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Money has chosen It's Time For War as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Money fails in his attempt to clinch. No joy there for Money, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Money throws a nice looking combination but Ruas bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ruas looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Money is fending him off so far but Ruas persists. Nope, Money circles away and we're back to standing. Benjamin Money seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Money throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ruas. Ruas on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Nice sprawl there from Money as Ruas shoots in. Ruas moves forwards but Money connects with a nice, crisp jab. Money doesn't manage to clinch there - Ruas circles away.
Money stuffs the takedown attempt from Ruas. Ruas gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marco Ruas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Money misses with a hook. Ruas ducked under it nicely. Ruas will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Money throws a leg kick that misses. A good leg kick by Money.
That's one minute gone in the round. A solid leg kick lands there for Money.
Money tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ruas shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Money's guard. Ruas wants to pass the guard but Money is keeping the position. Money is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Money wants to stand up but Ruas is controlling him. Ruas throws a big right hand that misses. Ruas trying to move into half guard but instead Money has managed to sweep! Money content to stall in guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Money preventing the sweep.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Money throws a nice outside leg kick. Money throws out a powerful jab. Ruas checks the leg kick. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Money lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ruas has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ruas and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Money throws a nice looking combination but Ruas bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Money throws a right and a left that both miss. Money looks gassed! Ruas scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Ruas in side control, throwing shots but Money defends. Money prevents Ruas from moving into mount. Ruas works to advance to full mount. Money defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Ruas swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Money is now in Ruas's guard. A big mistake from Ruas there, giving up the dominant position!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ruas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Money doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Money manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Ruas is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ruas is working an open guard so Money takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Money missing with a left hand there. Ruas was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Money misses with a head kick.
Ruas looks for a takedown but Money sprawls well. Ruas fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Money rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ruas moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ruas looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Money is fending him off so far but Ruas persists. Nope, Money circles away and we're back to standing. Nice sprawl there from Money as Ruas shoots in. Money connects with a single shot there. Money lands with a thumping leg kick.
Ruas scores a takedown into full mount! Ruas throwing strikes here but Money is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ruas looking for a guillotine from mount but Money is having none of it. Ruas with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Money tries to hold on but Ruas postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Marco Ruas will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Ruas. Ruas goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Money has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Ruas but great work by Money. Ruas misses with a strike from the bottom. Ruas manages to get back to half guard. Money wants to stand up but Ruas is controlling the position.
Money prevents Ruas from improving his position. Ruas gets full guard. Ruas keeping moving, preventing Money from controlling successfully. Money is breathing heavily. Ruas looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Money has picked Ruas up and slammed him! Ruas can't keep hold of the triangle and Money manages to pass to side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruas tries to bench press Money off him but Money keeps the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ruas shoots in but Money avoids the takedown attempt easily. Money throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Ruas stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Money follows into mount!
Ruas is rocked! Money content just to control the position here. Oh Ruas is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ruas seems to have got his legs back now. Money really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ruas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Money controlling from mount. Ruas tries to reverse the position but Money maintains control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ruas is working hard here to advance position. Money tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Money prevents Ruas from getting the reversal. Ruas is squirming around, avoiding Money's attempts to control the action. Ruas is looking to get to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Money controlling from the full mount. Ruas is trying to escape the mount.
Ruas regains half guard. Ruas looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Money pushes past his half guard into mount! Money content just to control the position here. Money wants to control the pace but Ruas is squirming around nicely. Ruas sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Benjamin Money showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Ruas tries for a takedown but Money sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Ruas takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Ruas shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Money as he avoids it easily. Ruas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Money tries to avoid it but Ruas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Money to the ground. Money escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marco Ruas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ruas fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Money finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Money misses with the combination.
Money lands with a kick to the temple. Ruas shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Money throws out a leg kick but Ruas moves out of range and Money only half commits. Ruas fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Money takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Ruas shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruas will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ruas moves out of range as Money throws a body kick.
Ruas looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Money looks to land a combination but Ruas avoids it well. Ruas fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Money has managed to clinch.
Money breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Money fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ruas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Money.
Ruas shoots in looking for a takedown. Money tries to sprawl out of it but Ruas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Money manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Money tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ruas closes this distance looking for a takedown but Money circles away. Money looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Ruas shoots in and bounces Money off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Ruas drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Ruas seems to have locked his on tight now - Money screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Ruas, as he picks up the win!
