Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evander Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georges Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maia drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jones keeping moving, preventing Maia from controlling successfully.
Jones looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Maia postures up in Jones's guard and throws a big left but Jones blocks it.
Jones preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet.
Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Maia on the ground.
Maia is stalling in the full guard.
Maia drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jones manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Maia has Jones in his guard.
Maia wants to sweep but no luck.
Maia is looking for a triangle but Jones pushes his legs off easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maia swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Jones has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Maia to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jones is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Maia pulls down on the head and he's put Jones to sleep! This one is all over!
