The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plantila tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Williams paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Williams moves out of range as Plantila strikes.
Nice takedown defense from Plantila. No joy for Williams on that attempt.
Plantila misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Plantila has taken the fight to the clinch.

Williams tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Plantila just stands there and leans against the cage.

Plantila breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williams with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Plantila to score with a decent uppercut.

Williams tries for a takedown but Plantila sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Plantila is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Williams.

Plantila darts in and clinches Williams up against the cage.

Plantila breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Plantila gets caught flat footed, as Williams shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Williams wants to control from the top but Plantila keeps moving.
