The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mae fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Starr swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Starr throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Starr scores with a shot to the body.
Dominik Starr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mae dives in and grabs Starr's left leg, looking for a takedown. Starr pushes down on Mae's head and hops out.
Starr throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Starr connects with a looping right hand.

It looks like Nomi Mae has been cut.
Starr lands with an uppercut that bounces Mae off the cage and back into rage.

Mae is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Starr finds Mae's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Mae flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Starr lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Mae will be OK.
