Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lenny Monroe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monroe comes to the cage accompanied by Stay Fly. Paul is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by DMX. Lenny Monroe could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Peter Paul's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lenny Monroe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Paul! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Monroe motions for Paul to come forward. Monroe throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Monroe throws a series of punches but Paul moves out of range. A swing and a miss from Monroe. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Paul is defended easily by Monroe. Monroe gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Paul to score an easy takedown into full guard. Monroe controls Paul momentarily but Paul frees himself. Monroe working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Paul doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Paul manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Paul stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Monroe swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Monroe manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Paul manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Paul is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Paul is on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Monroe working for a triangle but Paul defends it easily.
Paul pushing down on Monroe's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Paul is looking for a kimura here.
Monroe gets full guard. Monroe looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Paul works over Monroe with some ground and pound from guard. Monroe is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Paul trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Monroe throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Paul controlling from the top position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Monroe working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Paul has passed into half guard!
Monroe is breathing heavily. Paul scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Monroe is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Paul pulls his head out easily. Paul seems to be working for a kimura but Monroe defends the submission attempt. Paul passes to side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Paul is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Monroe has escaped the position, nice work there. Paul wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Monroe, who protects the arm well. Monroe tries to improve position but can't. Paul is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Monroe knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Monroe pushes Paul away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Paul gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Paul is trying to get an arm triangle but Monroe is defending well. Monroe gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Monroe wants to improve his position but Paul is controlling well.

Monroe looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Paul is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Monroe has escaped the position, nice work there. Monroe is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Paul manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Paul slips a nice elbow through Monroe's hands, connecting with Monroe's forehead. Paul looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Monroe wants to control but Paul is keeping busy.
Monroe makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Monroe.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Paul wants to control from the top but Monroe keeps moving. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Monroe is on top in guard.
Monroe is looking to advance position but Paul has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Monroe is looking to improve his position but Paul isn't that keen on the idea. Monroe defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Paul. Monroe is looking to get to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Paul showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Monroe's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Paul fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Monroe sprawls well initially but Paul persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Paul is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Monroe wants to control but Paul is keeping busy.
Monroe regains full guard. Nicely done. Paul tries to free his leg and advance position but Monroe is retaining full guard. Paul prevents Monroe from getting back to his feet. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Paul regains control of the situation pretty easily.

He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Paul stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Monroe swivels though and keeps the full guard. Monroe tries to land a sweep but no joy. Monroe looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Paul puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Paul is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Lenny Monroe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Paul scoring with strikes to the body and head. Monroe actively working from the bottom here. Paul has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Monroe slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Paul trying to pass the guard but Monroe defending well. The fighters are battling for position here. Monroe manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Monroe looking to hit a scissor sweep but Paul is one step ahead there. Paul stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Monroe swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Paul is staying active underneath Monroe, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Paul tries to roll over but Monroe keeps him under control. Monroe missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Monroe is looking to advance position but Paul won't allow it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Excellent takedown into side control there by Paul. Paul tries for a kimura but Monroe is defending well. Monroe is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Paul off and has taken his back! Peter Paul is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Monroe is looking for the choke from the back position but Paul is controlling his hands well.
And that's the end of the fight! Peter Paul comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Paul winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
