The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Forte.
McCoullegham tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Forte swivels and escapes.
McCoullegham shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Forte but Forte pushes him off and we're back to square one.
No luck with that takedown attempt from McCoullegham.

McCoullegham shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Forte but Forte pushes him off and we're back to square one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McCoullegham shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Forte as he jumps to the side.
McCoullegham dives in and grabs Forte's left leg, looking for a takedown. Forte pushes down on McCoullegham's head and hops out.

McCoullegham takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
An inside leg kick lands from Forte.
McCoullegham is breathing heavily.
Forte pushes McCoullegham away with a front kick.
McCoullegham walks forward, straight into a front kick from Forte.
Forte lands with a kick to the ribs.
McCoullegham takes a kick to the side of the head.
McCoullegham blocks a head kick by Forte.
Forte thuds his shin into the meat of McCoullegham's side.
Forte lands with a kick to the temple. McCoullegham shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Good leg kick by Forte there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Forte pulls out of a head kick attempt.

McCoullegham throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Forte's waist but Forte gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McCoullegham off to one side.
McCoullegham takes a head kick and keeps coming.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Forte throws a nice looking combination but McCoullegham bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
McCoullegham takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Forte misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Forte throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

McCoullegham takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
McCoullegham blocks a head kick by Forte.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for McCoullegham. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
McCoullegham goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

McCoullegham shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Forte tries to improve his position but instead McCoullegham has taken his back!

McCoullegham has managed to slip his arm under Forte's chin. This could be all over... yep, Forte is tapping out! Submission win for McCoullegham.
