Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Sol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Acker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Viktor Sol! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Arthur Acker! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sol throws a series of punches but Acker moves out of range. Sol has Acker up against the cage in a clinch.
Sol goes for a takedown in the clinch but Acker prevents it.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Sol has had enough of the clinch but Acker keeps him there for the moment. Acker manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Sol postures up in Acker's guard and throws a big left but Acker blocks it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Acker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Acker had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sol defends it easily. Acker looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Sol lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Acker down.

Sol throws a series of punches but Acker avoids them all with ease. Acker tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Sol counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Acker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sol doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sol manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Acker wants to sweep but no luck. Sol scoring with some ground and pound. Acker is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sol defends well. Sol is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Sol passes Acker's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Sol takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Sol seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Sol wants to free his trapped foot but Acker is holding on for dear life with his legs. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sol throws a combination. Acker tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Sol lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Sol misses with a two punch combination.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Viktor Sol. Well Sol has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
