Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bastian Schweinsteiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodolpho Vasquel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasquel comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ramstein Du Hast kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rodolpho Vasquel has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schweinsteiger gets caught flat footed, as Vasquel shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Vasquel postures up.
Vasquel trying to control the position from guard on top but Schweinsteiger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Vasquel wants to pass the guard but Schweinsteiger is keeping the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Vasquel shoots in for a takedown but Schweinsteiger shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vasquel goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Schweinsteiger is on top in guard.
Vasquel trying to keep a closed guard but Schweinsteiger is proving a slippery customer.
Vasquel is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Vasquel has his foot on Schweinsteiger's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Schweinsteiger works his way back into a safe position though.
Schweinsteiger got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vasquel has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Schweinsteiger has managed to get both his arms back between Vasquel's legs - danger averted.

Vasquel working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Schweinsteiger doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Schweinsteiger manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Schweinsteiger slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Vasquel stops Schweinsteiger from passing to mount.
Vasquel is trying to control Schweinsteiger's posture but Schweinsteiger avoids it.
Vasquel sneaks back into half guard.
Schweinsteiger looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Vasquel with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vasquel actively working from the bottom here.
Schweinsteiger is looking to take a break and control but Vasquel is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Schweinsteiger lands a nice short elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rodolpho Vasquel dominated that round.
That's time! Schweinsteiger's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Schweinsteiger wants to control from the top but Vasquel keeps moving.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Vasquel is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Schweinsteiger defends well.

Schweinsteiger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vasquel swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Vasquel looking for a triangle here. Schweinsteiger is fighting it but it looks tight! Vasquel pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Schweinsteiger is tapping out - this one is all over!
