Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stones Mahones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Whior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Whior has chosen Haka as his entrance music. The key to victory for Stones Mahones has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stones Mahones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Junior Whior! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Whior darts in and clinches Mahones up against the cage. Whior breaks from the clinch.
Nice defenses there by Mahones. Mahones's corner calls for a 1-2. Mahones obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Whior drops Mahones with a beautiful combination! Mahones stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Whior is looking for the KO! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Whior shoots in but no luck this time. Whior lands a nice looking kick to the body. Mahones takes a step back to recover. Mahones ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Whior fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mahones, pushing him back against the cage. Whior tightens his grip and picks Mahones up, before dumping him to the ground. Mahones manages to land in guard. Whior drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Whior jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Whior trying to control but Mahones is working from the bottom. Mahones is trying to control the position but Whior postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Whior preventing the sweep. Whior wants to control from the top but Mahones keeps moving. Whior wants to pass the guard but Mahones is keeping the position. Whior throwing strikes from guard but Mahones blocks nicely. Whior trying to control the position from guard on top but Mahones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. No joy there for Whior, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Whior takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Whior fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mahones lands with a good body shot. Whior looks gassed! Mahones bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Whior's head backwards. Mahones drops Whior with a big left hand and mounts him. Whior is in big trouble!
It looks like Junior Whior has been cut. Mahones unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Whior wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Mahones celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stones Mahones!
